Owen is 1 year old today and he’s having a party tomorrow. I made him some stylish light-weight quick-change pants (using Anna-Maria Horner’s Handmade Beginnings) for the upcoming months. I’m sure he’ll have many adventures in them.
I really liked this print. These can be his “preppy” pants, and the reverse orange side can be his “hippy” pants.
These pants are just wild!
All fabrics are from SAS, with the exception of the orange, which is from the Quilt Basket. It is very hard to find fabrics for boys, I’ve decided. There are so many cute girly fabrics out there (and at SAS). Boys either get pro football-themed (yuck) or cartoons or cars. Boring! I love these bugs…I hope Owen does too! I made these pants a little long so he can grow into them. In the meanwhile, the legs can be rolled up so highlight the other fabric.
Happy 1st birthday Owen!
