Sophia had a play date with a baby named Sonia, who was born one week before her. Her parents were also at the birth center, but ended up in the hospital to be induced. Both girls are so long!
Sonia rolled over onto her side and kicked Sophia and Sophia was just looking at her…like, um, excuse me, but who are you? Those girls were definitely aware of each other. They had a great time and the mommas had a nice lunch and chat too!
Here are some photos:
Here’s a couple of photos of Sophia smiling! She does this all the time…even in her sleep. It’s very sweet. Sorry the photos are a bit blurry…working on getting a new camera, one with video options…sometime next month perhaps. Then we can have her smiles and maybe her talking recorded for everyone to see and hear!
We’re working on getting the autumn garden in the ground soon. I just pulled all the old tomato, zucchini, eggplant, and basil plants this morning during Sophia’s 2 hour nap. I’m going to plant broccoli and chard in the beds and salad greens, carrots, and radishes in pots. And maybe some new herbs…
That’s right, today has been a two hour plus nap morning….poor kid is probably tired from all her playing yesterday! She’s been doing some longer stretches at night too, anywhere from 4-6 hours, followed by a 2-3 hour stretch. It’s a good thing.
