I love the idea of putting food away, like yummy tomato sauce made during the summer that tastes like warm sunshine during the cold winter months.  Since I didn’t get new values & stuff for my pressure cooking, I didn’t put any tomato sauce away this past year, but I made plenty of pesto.  Which has been yummy in pastas…

We’re all out of the apples, but not the apple sauce, I made 2 years ago.

But today I came across these pretty jars at one of my favorite blogs and now have the urge to do some canning.  But it’s wintertime and I am not fond of marmalade…

Oy vey…what am I to do?  Maybe order the jars and get back to work & stop procrastinating???

Maybe…but these are perfect for jams…
